Observability Platform Engineer

Arcus Search are partnering with a highly successful organisation operating within the financial sphere, who are looking to hire an Observability Platform Engineer to manage & run OpenTelemetry at scale.

Role: Observability Platform Engineer

Salary: up to £200,000 + a strong annual bonus

Location: London – 3 days a week in the office

The role:

You’ll be responsible for designing and operating cloud-native observability platforms using OpenTelemetry and Kubernetes, contributing to the roadmap for observability tooling, and working with AWS services to ensure seamless integration with the observability platform.

Key Requirements:

• Expert in OpenTelemetry
• Experience with Datadog, Dynatrace, Splunk, Grafana, or equivalent
• Cloud experience, ideally AWS
• Proficiency in Kubernetes
• A good level of coding experience within Python
