My Journey

After studying Sports Business Management at university with aspirations of becoming a football agent, I realised that what truly excited me was the art of negotiation, building relationships, and the fast-paced energy of deal-making… so naturally, I fell into recruitment. In my first job after University, I instantly fell in love with the industry – the blend of people interaction, commercial drive, and the “work hard, play hard” culture suited me perfectly.

The 4 years I had there truly were a “recruitment rollercoaster” but in my final full year, I was promoted twice and was proudly awarded Employee of the Year, as voted by all staff. After an incredible journey there, I’m now excited to be starting my next chapter with Arcus, joining in late October 2025, ready to take on new challenges and continue growing in an industry I’m passionate about.

Why I Love It

For me, recruitment is the perfect mix of challenge and reward. I love the buzz of making a placement, knowing you’ve made a real difference for both a client by making them scale and by helping someone secure a new role that could be life changing.

The relationship side of the job is what keeps it special; every day is about connecting with new people, understanding their goals, and helping them take the next step in their journey. No two days are ever the same, and that’s what keeps me driven.

After Hours…

Outside of work, I love spending time with family and friends and following West Ham through all the highs and lows that come with it. I also enjoy keeping up with and talking about Film, politics, food, history, and I love to travel – having visited nine countries this year alone. Whether it’s exploring a new city, trying local food, or relaxing somewhere sunny, I’m always planning the next trip!
