I’m working with a highly respected, fintech client on a genuinely unique Technology Assurance hire, a role that sits alongside engineering, not traditional audit or risk.
This isn’t about ticking boxes. It’s about understanding how systems are really built, shipped, and operated, and then challenging them in a meaningful, value-driven way.
What you’ll be doing:
• Deep diving into system design, APIs, and distributed architectures
• Mapping dependencies, integrations, and third-party risk exposure
• Using data and AI-assisted tooling to identify non-obvious risks early
• Assessing how engineering work translates from strategy → delivery
• Partnering directly with senior engineers to influence technical decisions
What they’re looking for:
• Background in software engineering, DevOps, or technology risk
• Strong understanding of modern environments (Agile, CI/CD, cloud, distributed systems)
• Ability to move between hands-on technical detail and big-picture thinking
• Clear communicator with commercial awareness and curiosity
Location: London (4 days onsite)
Compensation: Market-leading base + bonus + additional allowances
This is an opportunity to step into a role with real influence on how systems are designed and operated, not reviewing from the sidelines, but shaping outcomes alongside engineering teams.
