I’m working with a leading quantitative trading business that’s looking for a Software Engineer to join its Trading Technology team in NYC / Connecticut.

You’ll help develop and evolve a sophisticated real-time trading platform used across global financial markets. The team is responsible for the systems that monitor and control trading activity, providing the performance, resilience and reliability needed for a world-class quantitative trading environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for a full-stack engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges while working closely with trading, research and engineering teams.

What you’ll be doing

• Designing and developing high-performance applications using C# and .NET

• Enhancing a real-time trading platform used globally

• Building modern frontend experiences using TypeScript and JavaScript frameworks

• Taking ownership of key monitoring and command infrastructure

• Working closely with stakeholders to turn business requirements into technical solutions

• Promoting high engineering standards across the software development lifecycle

What they’re looking for

• Strong commercial software engineering experience

• Experience with C# or another typed language such as Java, Kotlin, C++ or Rust

• Experience using React, Angular or similar JavaScript frameworks

• Full-stack development experience

• Strong debugging and performance optimisation skills

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Interest in financial technology or quantitative trading is advantageous
