Senior Infrastructure Engineer – Windows – London – Contract

We’re working with a leading research and technology firm looking for an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer to support and enhance a large-scale Windows infrastructure supporting critical business platforms.

This is a hands-on engineering role focused on Windows infrastructure, VMware and Citrix, with a key project around migrating enterprise telephony and video conferencing from Webex to Microsoft Teams.

What you’ll be doing:

• Supporting and improving a large enterprise Windows Server environment
• Managing Active Directory and core infrastructure services including DNS, DHCP and Group Policy
• Administering VMware vSphere infrastructure
• Managing Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, including VDA and Provisioning Services (PVS)
• Supporting Microsoft 365 services, with a particular focus on Microsoft Teams
• Playing a key role in the migration from Webex to Microsoft Teams for telephony and video conferencing
• Delivering infrastructure upgrades, patching and lifecycle management
• Working closely with infrastructure, networking and security teams to maintain a stable, secure platform
