    • Build and configure a reusable dbt-based data test suite covering Acquisition and Curation.
    • Implement checks covering completeness, accuracy, timeliness, consistency, uniqueness and validity.
    • Integrate data tests into CI/CD using Jenkins, GitHub Actions or equivalent.
    • Support developer self-service testing and scheduled production assurance testing.
    • Monitor test coverage, defects, alerts and Snowflake compute usage.
    • Document the test framework and provide runbooks and knowledge transfer to the Data Management team.
    • Work closely with Data Engineers, Analysts, QA and Data Management stakeholders.

    Required Skills

    • Advanced SQL and strong hands-on dbt experience in a production Snowflake environment.
    • Experience with data quality testing frameworks, such as dbt-expectations, Great Expectations, Soda or equivalent.
    • Strong Snowflake / data warehousing / Lakehouse experience, including streams, tasks, time travel, cloning and semi-structured data.
    • CI/CD experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions or equivalent.
    • Python for test orchestration and scripting.
    • Strong understanding of data quality dimensions and testable assertions.
    • Understanding of deterministic data testing alongside AI/ML model and agent evaluation.

    Nice to Have

    • Entity resolution / fuzzy matching experience.
    • Data lineage and source-system conflict/precedence experience.
    • Risk, Financial Crime or Financial Services experience.
    • AWS, Azure or GCP experience.
    • Snowflake certification.

    Soft Skills

    • Strong documentation and stakeholder management skills.
    • Comfortable challenging and clarifying testing requirements.
    • Able to work across Data Engineering, QA and Data Management teams.
    • Focused on building solutions that can be successfully handed over and maintained.
