We’re currently partnering with a global fintech company looking for a Principal Engineer to join their Client Platform team with a strong focus on React Native and mobile platform architecture.

This role is focused on improving scalability, tooling, architecture, and CI/CD across a large mobile app ecosystem. You’ll work on core platform capabilities used across multiple teams, helping improve developer experience, performance, stability, and long-term maintainability.

Key responsibilities:

• Own and evolve core parts of the React Native client platform

• Lead large-scale technical initiatives across mobile platform and frontend infrastructure

• Improve tooling, CI/CD, app architecture, scalability, and developer experience

• Work closely with JavaScript/TypeScript, frontend build tooling, and native iOS/Android integrations

• Mentor engineers and help drive technical best practices across teams

Key skills:

• Strong React Native experience

• JavaScript & TypeScript

• React Native internals

• Frontend build tooling (Babel / Metro / Webpack)

• CI/CD pipelines

• Experience working on large-scale mobile applications

• Collaboration with iOS & Android teams

• Platform/infrastructure-focused mindset

• AWS fundamentals

• Node.js / Express exposure
