Platform Engineer (Database Platforms) – London
A research focused technology organisation operating large scale on premise and hybrid infrastructure is looking for a Platform Engineer to help build, automate and operate the database platforms that underpin business critical systems and large scale engineering workloads.
This is an infrastructure engineering role first and foremost. You’ll be working across automation, platform engineering and DevOps, helping to build reliable, scalable services while developing deep expertise in modern database platforms.
The environment spans Linux, Kubernetes, cloud and on premise infrastructure, with a strong focus on automation, engineering quality and solving complex technical challenges at scale.
We’re looking for someone with solid engineering fundamentals, a passion for automation, and the curiosity to continually learn new technologies. Strong DevOps experience is more important than being an existing database expert.
