Arcus Search are currently working with a Leeds-based consultancy that’s looking to hire a .NET Developer on an initial 3-month fixed-term contract, with a strong likelihood of extension into a longer-term engagement.
The end client is a well-known financial services organisation, and the work is genuinely interesting, modern tech, Azure-heavy, and part of a solid delivery team.
- Role: .NET Developer
- Salary: £70,000 (pro-rated monthly)
- Location: Leeds (3 days per week onsite)
- Contract: Initial 3-month FTC, extension likely
What you’ll be doing
- Building and maintaining applications using C# and .NET Core / .NET Framework
- Working with Azure services (App Services, Functions, Logic Apps, Azure SQL, etc.)
- Taking part in architecture discussions and code reviews
- Troubleshooting and optimising applications for performance and scalability
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver projects end-to-end
What we’re looking for
- Strong experience with C#, ASP.NET Core, and .NET Framework
- Hands-on experience with Azure (App Services, Functions, Storage, Key Vault, etc.)
- Good understanding of REST APIs, Entity Framework, and LINQ
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps)
- Docker / Kubernetes experience is a bonus, not a must
