We’re currently partnering with a global fintech company looking for a Lead Data Engineer to join their data platform team.

This role is focused on building and scaling large-scale AWS data platforms and infrastructure supporting analytics and data processing workloads. You’ll work on platform architecture, scalability, reliability, and cloud-based data processing systems used across the business.

Key responsibilities:

• Build and operate large-scale AWS data platforms

• Design scalable data pipelines and processing systems

• Improve platform architecture, infrastructure, scalability, and reliability

• Work with technologies including Spark, S3, Glue, Iceberg, Redshift, Terraform, and Databricks

• Support production data systems and drive operational improvements

• Lead technical initiatives and collaborate across multiple teams

Key skills:

• Strong AWS data platform experience

• Spark & Python

• Terraform / Infrastructure as Code

• S3 data lakes

• AWS Glue / Redshift / Iceberg

• Distributed data processing

• Platform/infrastructure-focused mindset

• Production-scale systems experience
