    DevSecOps Engineer (Software Engineering Focus)

Up to £200,000 Base + Bonus (Total Comp ~ up to £350,000)

London – Hybrid (3 Days Onsite)

We are partnering with a highly successful organisation operating within the financial sphere, looking to hire a DevSecOps Engineer to join a deeply technical engineering environment.

This is not a traditional security role. We are specifically looking for a strong software engineer first someone who can design, build, and ship high-quality production code and who also brings deep expertise in security.

You will be working on complex, large-scale systems where security is embedded directly into the engineering process, not treated as an afterthought.

    The Role

You will sit within core engineering teams, taking ownership of security challenges end-to-end from identifying issues through to designing and implementing robust, scalable solutions in code.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Design and deliver real, production-grade security solutions within complex systems
    • Write clean, maintainable, high-performance code to resolve security vulnerabilities
    • Embed directly with product and platform teams to improve system-wide security
    • Take ownership of security work from investigation through to deployment
    • Identify recurring security patterns and drive long-term engineering improvements
    • Contribute to architecture and system design with a security-first mindset

    What We’re Looking For

    Software Engineering Background

    • Strong experience as a software engineer building production systems
    • Excellent coding ability (Python, Go, Java, or similar)
    • Experience working on complex, distributed systems at scale

    Security Expertise

    • Deep understanding of application and infrastructure security
    • Proven track record of fixing vulnerabilities through code, not just identifying them
    • Ability to balance security with performance, scalability, and developer experience

    Additional Strengths

    • Strong engineering judgement and problem-solving ability
    • Clear and effective technical communication
    • Experience working in highly technical, fast-paced environments

    If interested please apply!
