Job Title: AI DevOps / Platform Engineer
Location: Portugal (Fully Remote) – Must be based in Portugal to be considered
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 6 months initially + further ext
We are seeking an AI DevOps / Platform Engineer to support the delivery of enterprise AI solutions by building and managing the cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and data integration platforms that enable AI applications to run reliably in production. You will work alongside AI Engineers and client teams to provision secure cloud environments, automate deployments, integrate data sources, and ensure AI-powered applications are scalable, monitored, and production-ready.
Key Requirements:
- 2+ years’ experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS and Terraform (Infrastructure as Code).
- Experience with Kubernetes/EKS, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Good understanding of AWS services including EKS, ECR, RDS, S3, SQS, IAM, and networking.
- Experience supporting production cloud environments with a focus on security, governance, monitoring, and reliability.
- Experience building and maintaining data integration pipelines, ideally with Snowflake (Cortex experience is a plus).
- Strong Python and SQL skills for automation and tooling.
- Comfortable working in agile, client-facing delivery teams.
Desirable:
- Experience supporting AI/LLM applications (Amazon Bedrock, RAG, MCP servers, vector databases).
- Experience with AI observability and evaluation tools such as Langfuse or LangSmith.
- AWS certifications.
- Experience working in regulated industries.
